BTMSEAL Inject 1K PU

BTMSEAL INJECT 1K PU is one-component, polyurethane-based, semi-flexible, hydrophobic foam injection material developed to block the water leaking from fractures and pores of concrete elements.

It efficiently blocks water leakages, deeply and rapidly penetrating into the gaps on construction elements; since it has low viscosity.

PLACES OF USE

Can be safely used in:

•Subsoil walls and grounds of the buildings,

•Underground structures such as car park and storage,

•Tunnels and underground passages,

•Drain and sewer water systems,

•Water storages and tanks,

•Against water leakages occur on concrete walls,

•Waterways and dams.

SURFACE PREPARATION

•The surface should be washed with a high-pressure washer; oil, grease, fuel and paraffin residues should be removed; as well as the mould should completely be freed from release agents, cement residues, sawdust, loose parts and cured materials.

•Wide holes and gaps may be filled with epoxy mortar, prepared by adding quartz and/or silica sand into BTMSEAL AA 0106 epoxy based solvent-free transparent lining material.

APPLICATION

Applied with one-component injection pump.

Mixing:

Resin part of BTMSEAL INJECT 1K PU should be mixed with the amount of the catalyzer given with the product. Ratio of catalyzer may vary 0,5 % and 5,0 % depending on the moisture of temperature of the sub-layer. Before the application, the mixture should not contact with the moisture. Otherwise, it can react. In order to prevent early reaction, the container bearing the material should be closed.

Cleaning:

The entire equipment used in application process should be cleaned with PU thinner immediately after the application.

STORAGE CONDITION AND SHELFLIFE

It should be stored in unopened bucket, between 5 °C and 25 °C in dry places for 9 month after date of production. Material in opened buckets should immediately be used.
