PLACES OF USE

•As water and moisture tight material from the direction of water flow in underground applications such as foundation, retaining wall and basement,
•As water isolation material in dry or slightly moist details such as kitchen, bathroom, etc.,
•Waterproofing applications resistant to high pressure water, together with polyester felt, isolation fabric, etc.,
•As protective layer on isolation coats or filling of surface pits by mixing with screened fine sand and some cement,
•Insulation of planter boxes,
•Insulation of underground parts of artistic structures against water and moisture.

SURFACE PREPARATION

The application surface should be free of dust, dirt, rust and oil, and loose parts scraped. Pointed tips and sharp corners should be rounded. If required, BTR 100 may be applied without thinned or by thinning Bitülast BTL 200 with water by 1:1 by weight.

APPLICATION

The application surface should be checked for smoothness, dryness and cleanliness and adequate slope grout before applying the primer. After meeting these requirements, is applied on the surface by means of brush or spray gun, as 1.5 kg per sqm on horizontal surfaces and 0.8 kg per sqm on walls, and left until it fully dries. It fully dries in approximately 4-5 hours depending on weather conditions. In case of double-layer applications, the second layer should not be applied until the first layer fully dries. Application of bituminous membrane is started after the primer is completely dry.

CONSUMPTION

1.5 kg per sqm on horizontal surfaces, and 0.8 kg per sqm on walls depending on smoothness of the application surface.

STORAGE CONDITION AND SHELFLIFE

Keep in dry area and protect against direct sunlight. The shelf life is 12 months for a closed product. The date of production takes place on the package.
