Elastomast ELM 300
ADVANTAGES
- It has high elasticity and crack bridging properties.

PLACES OF USE
- Dampproofing exterior below-grade foundations and walls,
- As water isolation material in dry or slightly moist details such as terrace, kitchen, bathroom, etc.,
- As primer under bituminous coatings,
- As primer material and binder in fiber glass, canvas, etc. applications,
- Anti-corrosive protection for metallic surfaces such as steel construction, pipe, etc.
- As an additive improving tightness and adherence in the mortars and plasters formed by cement and/or fine sand,
- In order to prevent flexion of construction templates due to water and as template separator
SURFACE PREPARATION
The crack to be filled should be cleared from substances preventing adhesion by means of a hard sweeper, wire brush or air compressor, and it should be dry. Depending on the surface of application, BITUSOL or BITUMER should be applied on the surface of application as primer when required, and its complete drying should be ensured.
APPLICATION
Melted in an appropriate melting boiler (melting in a double-wall boiler, the jacked which is filled with heat transferring oil, is preferred) at 160-180 ºC, ELASTOMAST is poured in the joint or crack.If it is used road repave, the material mixture which is obtained by sand and breaking basalt or limestone is scattered on the filling slightly heated by means of a torch.
CONSUMPTION
It varies depending on the smoothness of the surface of application and the thickness of application.
PACKAGING
ELASTOMAST is presented in Net 21 kg tin packages.
STORAGE CONDITION AND SHELFLIFE
It should be stored in covered places.
When stored in its original package unopened in a dry and cool place, its shelf life is 3 years.
WARNINGS
- Gloves and goggles should be used during application.
- The product temperature should not be allowed to exceed 180 oC during the melting process.
- The vapor released by the molten product should not be directly inhaled.
