Bituproof Y Plus

BTM BituProof Y Plus is a superior membrane being SBS-additive, elastomeric modified bituminous, having high strength, double layered special polyester reinforcement, laps of which are torched.

PLACES OF USE

The first layer elastomeric waterproofing membrane used in the foundation base of foundation tanking system.

SURFACE PREPARATION

The surface of the rubble concrete poured in sufficient thickness and strength must be surfaced. There should be no loose aggregate and sharp protrusions on the surface. The floor should be cleaned by sweeping before application.

APPLICATION

Long laps of BTM Bituproof Y should be torched as 10 cm and short laps will be 15 cm.

PACKAGING

BTM BituProof Y Plus; BTM BituProof Y is available in 1 m in width and 8 m in length in roll.

STORAGE CONDITION AND SHELFLIFE

The membrane rolls should be stored vertically under a roof, protected from direct sunlight. If the rolls have to be stored outdoors for a long period of time, they must be covered with a protective layer in order to protect them from the sunlight. The membrane rolls or pallets should not be stacked on each other.

Shelf-life is one year from the production date in case it is stored in its sealed and undamaged package in dry ambient conditions at a temperature from +5°C to +25°C away from direct sunlight.
